Carol Jean Heinssen, age 77 of Blair, passed away May 26, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 1 with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home.

Carol was born on Dec. 26, 1943, in Blair, the daughter of Raymond and Opal (Kuhr) Ruwe. She attended Blair Community Schools and graduated in 1961. Carol enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, watching Husker football and game shows, and flowers.

Carol is survived by her daughters, Shelley (Mark) Arnold and Lori (Fiancé Randy Frye) Townsend; grandchildren, Rick (Jessyca) Arnold, James Arnold and Ashlie Townsend; two sisters, one brother and numerous nieces and nephews.
