Stephen John Punko was born on June 20,1931 in Jersey City, NJ and passed away just one day after his 90th birthday, June 21, 2021 in Norfolk, NE.

Steve was married to his wife Elsie for 46 years and together they had 4 children, Kathleen, Kenneth, Michael and Cynthia. They spent many years living in Las Vegas,NV before Elsie passed away.

In October of 2000, Steve married his wife, Marilyn, adding seven step children and many grandchildren to his family. They made their home in Dodge County, NE.

Steve served in the United States Army for 3 years. After being honorably discharged, he spent 38 years as an aviation mechanic for United Airlines. He was an avid sports fan; never missed watching a baseball or football game on TV. He enjoyed playing Bingo with his friends at the VA Home.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Marilyn; brother, Raymond; sisters, Irene, and Patty; two daughters, Kathleen and Cynthia; step children: Greg, Mary(Larry), Lloyd, Nancy(Jeff), Mike, Lynn, and Mark. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Stephen is preceded in death by his Parents, Charles and Helen; 5 siblings; wife, Elsie and sons, Michael and Kenneth.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 25, 2021, at Campbell Aman Funeral Home from 1:00 PM to 2:30. Graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM at the Blair Cemetery.
