Josh grew up in the Washington and Bennington, Nebraska area and attended high school in Bennington. As a young boy, Josh enjoyed drawing, listening to music, riding 4 wheelers, camping and being outdoors.

Josh was currently living in Bennington, working for Eagle Waste Services. He was engaged to the love of his life, Capri Barker.

Josh was a happy, loving, kind, funny, outgoing, and positive man. He was a big fan of the Denver Broncos, and liked visiting almost any pizza place, but his favorite food was his mom’s tuna and noodles. His favorite color was blue/green tie dye, and he was a fan of numerous comedy movies. He cherished time at his dad’s shop, working with copper, and just hanging out with Dad. Josh was a collector and found countless antiques and toys that he treasured. He was content when working outside in his garden. Josh loved al kinds of music, from “Dear Momma” and “Changes” by TuPac, to the Foo Fighters, Pink Floyed, Xavier Rudd, Charlie Puth, the Lumineers, Hardy, Grouplove, the Floozies, or Ween, he listened to and enjoyed it all. He loved attending concerts with his brother, sister-in-law, but more than anything, Josh couldn’t get enough of the Howard Stern Show. He always had it on, no matter what.

Josh was always smiling and happy. He will be forever remembered for how kindhearted and loving he was, and for being a friend to everyone. He loved animals, and he loved his family, especially his niece and nephew. He helped Tyler with his go-cart racing and shared his love of art and music with Mikala; he loved every minute with them. You may have even heard him say, “Later, Little Lady”.
