John Christian Kuhr, 80, died Wednesday, July 11th, at the Hillcrest Nursing Home at Plattsmouth, Nebraska where he has been for the past six years.

Mr. Kuhr was born on December 31, 1881 on a farm at Orum. His parents were the late George Kuhr, Sr., and Anne C. Drevsen. He farmed until his eyesight and health failed him, and then he resided with his sister, Mrs. Bertha Wrich, until her death several years ago.

He is survived by a brother, George H. Kuhr, Jr., of Blair, and two sisters, Mrs. Albert Hansen (Flora) of Fremont and Mrs. Matilda Wolff of Peru, Nebr.

Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 13th, at the Bendorf Funeral Home. The Rev. Gail B. Dunning of the First Christian Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.
