Services for Elvin Molvig October 27

Funeral services for Elvin Molvig, who died Sunday Oct. 27, 1963 were held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church, the Rev. George Palleson officiating, and interment was at Walthill, Nebr. The Campbell Mortuary was in charge.

Elvin Molvig was born Sept. 11, 1894 at Virgil, South Dakota. He was baptized and confirmed in the Earlville Lutheran Church, Alpena, South Dakota. He was united in marriage to Matie Baggett Feb. 15, 1953 at Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They made their home and farmed near Alpena, South Dakota until moving to Nebraska 5 years ago. They lived at Lyons, Nebraska for two years and moved to Blair three years ago.

He is survived by his wife Matie, three sisters, (Helga)Mrs. Charles Allen, Blair; Mrs. Martha Haspins, Mrs. Marybelle Cummins of Kimball, South Dakota; four brothers, Charley, Blair; Julius, Jerome, Idaho; Robert and Carl of Bancroft, Nebraska.
