Kareen Kay Clifton, age 79, of Missouri Valley, Iowa completed her earthly pilgrimage and entered the Celestial City Friday, August 20, 2021.

Kareen was born March 1, 1942, in Charles City, Iowa to Clarence and Hazel Graper.

She graduated from High School in 1960 in Rockford, Iowa, and received an Associate of Arts Degree from Mason City Junior College in 1964. Kareen married her high school sweetheart, M.L. "Duke" Clifton June 18, 1961. They were married for sixty years, two months and two days. Kareen was a faithful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a trained Master Gardener and lover of God's creation, a writer and most of all a servant of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her ministry was as a Sunday School teacher in 5th, 6th and 7th grades, Bible Study and Intercessory prayer (with a group beginning their 14th year of ministry).

Kareen is preceded in death by Clarence and Hazel Graper.

Kareen is survived by her husband "Duke", and children Barry (Janis), Eric (Kelly), Lisa (Tim), and Jason (Joy), seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren, sister Julie (Gene) and brother Ron (Ruth).

Memorials can be directed to Christ Lutheran Church, Blair Nebraska.
