Dorothy N. Jensen, 72, died Sunday, March 15, 1998, at Mercy Care Center in Omaha.

Services were Wednesday at the Boyd E. Braman Mortuary. Burial was at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mrs. Jensen was born Sept. 14, 1925. She lived on a farm near Knoxville, Iowa and in Des Moines, Iowa, prior to her marriage. She was a long-time resident of Village Green, Omaha.

She was a member of the Christian Women's Association, South Omaha Eagles and Navy Mother's Club No. 42, of which she was a past president.

Survivors are her husband, Leon O. Jensen, Omaha; sons and daughter-in-law, Tom and Jodi Jensen, Council Bluffs, Iowa and Troy Jensen, Omaha; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Don Merrill and Rita and Kelly Shadden, all of Omaha; four grandchildren, Halie Jensen, Amy Merrill, Matthew Jensen and Spencer Shadden, all of Omaha; and one sister, Joy Andrew of Knoxville.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Paul Glover.

Casket bearers were Don Merrill, Kelly Shadden, Paul Glover, Jason Glover, Rodney Jensen and Randy Jensen.

Honorary casket bearers were Josh Glover, Jimmy Dean Glover, David Glover, Nathan Glover, Michael Jensen and Bradley Jensen.
