Blair Woman Died Suddenly of Heart Attack

Mrs. Hans Jorgensen, lifetime resident of Blair and vicinity, died suddenly Wednesday of a heart attack. She was 56 years old.

Mrs. Jorgensen was at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Emmet Rogert where she and Mrs. Rogert had been doing some spring yard and flower garden work. The attack came suddenly, she was rushed to Community Memorial Hospital but her life could not be saved.

Mrs. Jorgensen, prior to her marriage was Mae Elaine Hineline. She was born at DeSoto June 22, 1907, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Solomon Hineline. The couple had daughter, Mrs. Rogert.

She is survived by one brother, Ralph (Buck) Hineline of Blair and by five sisters. They are Mrs. Ed Johnson (Marjorie) of Omaha, Mrs. Belva Thompson of Portland, Oregon, Mrs. Mark (Sylvia) Hoskins of the state of Washington, Mrs. Herman (Bernice) Bretzer of San Francisco and Mrs. Burnice Kubie of Omaha. There are six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday April 4th at the First Lutheran Church with the Rev. George Pallesen conducting the service. Interment under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary, will be in the Blair cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Andreasen, Wayne Steinbaugh, Stanley Bednar, Eugene Olson, Darwin Soll and Jess Wright.

Since the death date was not recorded the handwritten date on the newspaper clipping was used.
