Alice R. Clausen, 90, passed away at Fremont Methodist Hospital on October 19, 2021. She was born on April 14, 1931, to Paul and Emma (Lambrecht) Timm near Telbasta, NE, on a farm.

She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church Fontanelle where she married Alfred Clausen on August 27, 1950. They lived on a farm northwest of Fremont. In 1995, they retired from farming and moved to Fremont. She loved life, her family and friends. She was a member of Bluff Trinity Church where she was part of the choir, women’s group and helped with Sunday school. She worked at Tobers in Fremont and Good Samaritan in Scribner from 1969- 1991 as a med tech. At the time of her death, Alice was a member of First Lutheran Church where she was a parish lay worker and later volunteered. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary #200, a volunteer for the blood mobile, and a pie maker. She loved being a grandmother and great-grandmother.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Janelle (Gail) Luedke of Hickman, NE; daughter in law, Nancy Clausen of Deadwood, SD; 4 granddaughters, Connie (Doug) Florer of Lincoln, Jennifer (Ryan) Schmidt of Hickman, Melissa Moore of Plano, TX, and Angela (Britt) Scott of Sturgis, SD; grandson, Chad Luedke of Hickman, NE; 5 great granddaughters, Ashley and Brittany Florer, Morgan Lynn, Kylee Luedke and Kaelyn Alice Schmidt; 5 great grandsons, Ethan and Daiten Schmidt, Branden Clausen, Hunter Scott, and Charles Robert; brother, Franklin Timm of Nickerson, NE; sister, Lois (Dana) Palmer of Hooper, NE; 2 sister in laws, Gerri Clausen of Fremont and Barbara Clausen of Colorado.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred; son, Robert “Bob” Clausen; granddaughter, Lynn; sisters, Mary Ann, Grace, Irene, and Darlene; and brothers, Charles, Harold, Lawrence, Paul and August.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, October 25, 2021, at First Lutheran Church in Fremont with Rev. Ernesto Medina officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM, Sunday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont and continue one hour prior to the service at the Church on Monday. Burial will be at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
