Lowell “Doug” Timm, 61, of Nickerson, Nebraska passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021. He was born on July 24, 1960, to August and Barbara (Hofeldt) Timm. Doug attended Fremont High School and graduated in 1978.

He worked for Nebraska Integrated Seeds until his retirement in 2020. He was proud of his nephews and enjoyed spending time with family. Doug was an avid Husker fan, was a past 4-H member and enjoyed raising cattle. Doug loved Monday Night RAW All Star Wrestling, and deep discussions of The Big Bang Theory. He enjoyed time with friends.

Doug is survived by his mother, Barbara; brothers, Ted and Alan of Fremont; nephews, Dusty (Charissa) Timm of Yutan, and Cory Timm of Omaha; niece, Amanda Hamre Timm; great nephews and nieces, Auggie and Johnee Timm of Yutan and Emme and Finley Timm of Arlington; aunts and uncles and several cousins.

Proceed in death by his father, August; brother, Mike; and nephew, Matthew “Bucky” Timm.

Memorial service at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Fremont with Rev. Schwedhelm officiating. Family receiving friends will be from 5 - 7 PM, Monday, September 13, 2021, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Burial will be at 1:15 PM, Tuesday, at Telbasta Cemetery in Telbasta.

Memorials may be directed to Hooper Fire and Rescue.

Masks are encouraged to be worn.
