Jace Darwin Zook, 61, of Missouri Valley, Iowa, passed away Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021, at his home with his wife by his side. Jace was born on Nov. 23, 1959, in Salmon, Idaho, the son of Joseph and Roberta Schumacher Zook.

Jace married Juanita Ann Michels on July 10, 1981, in Odessa, Texas. They have been married 40 years. Jace and Juanita are the parents of two children. They made their home on the road and traveled all over the United States and had many adventures together. Jace worked as a pipe fitter by trade that ran crews, as well.

Jace is survived by his wife, Juanita; two children and their families, Shannon and Mike Atkins and Tarren Zook. Five grandchildren, Grace, Kinsley, Calvin, Devon and Tyler. He is also survived by his siblings, Dennis Zook, Dana Zook, Lonny Zook, Vicki Michaels, Charmaine Carter and Candace Zook.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Duane Zook and Patrick Zook.

No funeral service will be conducted. His wishes were to be cremated and his ashes spread on the Salmon River in Idaho.
