Donald Wayne Warner Jr., age 71, passed away at home November 8, 2021. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 12 at 3:00PM at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 1:00PM. Graveside services will be held in the Prairie View Cemetery.

Don was born March 28, 1950, in Shenandoah, Iowa the son of Don and Bernice (Herman) Warner. He was a graduated of Bennington High School where he was a proud member of the first wrestling team at the school. Don attended college at the University of Nebraska at Omaha while he was working part-time at Western Electric. While working at Western Electric Don met and fell in love with Sharron Williams. The couple were united in marriage on July 17, 1971.

Don opened and operated a Phillips 66 station in 1972 in Omaha and later owned and operated West Grover Auto Repair. He later operated Eagle Enterprise working in construction. Don worked for the State of Nebraska Department of Roads for 19 years before his retirement. Don enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping his entire life, his Dodge vehicles and Harley Davidsons. He especially loved spending time with his family and attending his grandchildren’s activities where he was always a vocal spectator.

Don is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sharron; son Bradley (fiancée Janet Snyder) Warner; daughters: Rebecca (Gary) Van Ness and Laurel (Phil) Lang; grandchildren: Derek, Travis, Ryder, Savannah and Lillian; siblings: Diane (Bill) Hutcheson, Larry (Patty) Warner, Cheryl (Dave) Japp and Linda White; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Don and Bernice.
