Pete Duane Pedersen born February 22, 1936 was called home to the Lord on December 6, 2021 in Omaha. Pete is survived by his wife of sixty years, Sue Ann Pedersen of Omaha. Pete and Sue had three children that he is survived by, Timothy Pedersen (Elaine) of Machesney Park, Illinois, Elizabeth Pedersen of Bellevue, NE and Ellen Wilkins of Omaha. Also surviving Pete are his granddaughter, Anna Stevens (Luke) of Blair, NE; great-grandson, Logan Hansen, also from Blair; and sister, Ane Ertner from San Jose, CA. Pete was preceded in death by his parents, sister Barbara Smetzer, and brother Martin Pedersen. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials either to Mission Central C/O Gary Thies of Mapleton, Iowa; or St. Mark Lutheran Church, 90th and Blondo in Omaha. There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 11:30am at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 90th and Blondo, in Omaha.
