Judith Ann Baker, 75, of Conway, Ark., passed away on Dec. 10, 2021, after fighting a long battle with scleroderma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ella, brother Larry, husband John, and son John Scott. She is survived by her daughters Teri Hoxsie (Mike) and Andrea Hardin (Steve); her grandchildren Jacque Sweeten (Ashley), Jessica Burrow (Avery), Taylor Bradway, and Maddie Kaye Baker; great-grandchildren Brookelyn, Henley, and Lane; along with nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends.

She spent her life aiding in the dreams of her husband and children, from raising hogs and farming in Blair while also staying home with her children, and owning and operating the Sundance Saloon until eventually moving with her husband to Conway when his job was relocated. Shortly after, she obtained her real estate license and worked for various companies over several years. Eventually, as her husband and son began working on other people’s cars in their home garage, they started their own business, Trans Tech, which she managed for numerous years until its closing. All the while, sharing in the love of cars with her husband and all it entailed while he restored several classic cars.

Judy was always taking care of others, whether it was family, friends, or customers, and she will be greatly missed by many.

In the last few years, her caregivers became special friends…always keeping up with what was going on in their lives and offering advice. The family would like to offer a special thanks to all these caregivers as well as Kindred Hospice, who took excellent care of her.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
