Funeral services for Washington County native J. Clifford Jensen were held Saturday, Jan. 5, at Lincoln Memorial Mortuary in Lincoln.

Born Feb. 24, 1918 to John and Etta Jensen west of Blair, J. Clifford was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, a member of the VFW and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. He worked for the Blair Telephone Company before transferring to Wahoo.

He is survived by his wife Betty (Schroeder), daughters Judy of Lincoln and Karen, five grandchildren, brother Delmar of Chicago, sisters Myrtle Yates and Helen Lipke, both of Chicago, Betty Lynch of Los Angeles and Bertha Williams of Omaha.
