Larry M. Seefus, age 79 of Omaha, passed away on Jan. 7, 2022, in Blair. He is preceded in death by parents, Mike and Louise Seefus; grandson, Joshua J. Seefus; brothers, Donald Hirtzel, Jerry Seefus, Mike Seefus Jr. and George Seefus,; twin sister, Loretta Villafuerte; sisters, Mary Davis, Joann Scruggs and Sharon Scruggs.

Survived by wife, Janice of Omaha; sons, Jay (Lori) Seefus and Larry M. Jr. (Casey) Seefus, both of Fort Calhoun and Terry (Mary) Seefus of Omaha; sister-in-law, Jan Seefus of Burwell, NE; brothers-in-law, John Scruggs and Glen Scruggs, both of Omaha; grandchildren, Kayla (B.J.) Nilson, Molly (Brent) Lakin, Andrea Seefus, Larry III (Megan) Seefus, Hunter, Cody, Chance, Colton and Caden Seefus; 6 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022 also at the funeral home.

Interment is at Fort Calhoun Cemetery Memorials suggested to Fort Calhoun Fire and Rescue.

Elkhorn, NE. Preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Iola, and wife Bernice. Larry is survived by his daughters Barb Buchanan and Patti Bull both of Elkhorn; grandchildren Angie (Shane) Stephens, Brandy (Jeff) Braun, Brittney Bull, Julia Pietryga and Dustin Pietryga; great grandchildren William Stephens and Weston Braun; brother Chuck (Helen) Seefus of Blair; sister Arlene (George) Ritner of Valley; special friend Kathy Watson of Elkhorn; and many friends and extended family.

Visitation Sunday noon to 5pm with family receiving friends from noon to 3pm at the funeral home. Funeral Monday 10:30am at Bethany Lutheran Church in Elkhorn. Interment Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Memorials will be directed by the family.
