Pamela Ann (Lutz) Gutschow age 64 of Parkville, Missouri passed away on January 13, 2022 in her home surrounded by loved ones. Pam was born October 25, 1957 in Blair, NE to John and Mary Lou Lutz. They preceded her in death.

Pam graduated from Blair High School in 1975 and married Jim Gutschow of Blair, NE on September 21, 1979. Shortly after their wedding, they moved to Kansas City where they started their family and made their home. Pam was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be remembered by everyone as a loyal, generous, and extraordinarily kind woman who prioritized her faith, family, and friends. In addition to raising her three children, she donated countless hours of her time to her children’s schools and St. Therese Catholic Church where she served and read at the 6:30 a.m. Mass for 27 years. Pam thoroughly enjoyed being “Mimi” to her eight grandchildren, sewing quilts, and baby items for friends and family. Pam never turned down a chance to watch a movie or musical and one of her favorite things to do as a family was traveling annually to Sunset Beach, NC. Pam treasured traveling with Jim and their good friends to beaches, lakes, and abroad after the kids left the house. Sewing, quilting, playing card and board games, putting puzzles together, and making Pioneer Woman recipes were some off Pam’s favorite pastimes.

Pam is survived by her husband of 42 years, Jim; three children: Todd (Susan) Gutschow of Lenexa, KS, Heather (Jordan) Nelson of Parkville, MO, and Kelsey (Colin) Reekie of North Richland Hills, TX; eight grandchildren: Holden, Greta, and Ford Gutschow of Lenexa, KS, Hannah and Renae Nelson of Parkville, MO, and Piper, Marley, and Gwen Reekie of North Richland Hills, TX; and three sisters: Connie (Randy) Rasmussen of Omaha, NE, Dianne Jahn of Parkville, MO, Amy (Rob) Divis of Cave Creek, AZ.

Pam was loved dearly by many family and friends.
