Obituary for Jay Thomas Urwin

Jay Urwin, Age 54 of Blair, passed away January 29, 2022. Memorial Services will be held February 5,2022 at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services.

Jay was born on May 23, 1967 in Omaha NE the son of Thomas and Marilyn Urwin. Jay attended and graduated from Bryan High School. After high school Jay attended classes at Metro Tech. For several years Jay worked as a Sous Chef at several different locations. Since 1992 Jay worked for Local #39 as an Insulator. Jay enjoyed riding motorcycles and BMX in his younger years. He loved his animals and spent many hours volunteering for the Nebraska Humane Society. Jay will always be remembered for his sense of humor, and for being his own man.

He is survived by his parents Thomas and Marilyn Urwin, Sibling Tim (Susie) Urwin, Julia Urwin, nephew Graham, niece Ayla, along with Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Memorials may be directed to the Nebraska Humane Society.
