William L. Biffar, 78

William L. Biffar, age 78 of Blair, passed away January 31, 2022 at his home in Blair. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Bill was born August 12, 1943 in Blair, Nebraska, the son of Lauren and Virginia Biffar. He was raised in Blair and attended and graduated from Blair High School graduating in 1961.

After high school Bill joined the United States Army and served for four years before his honorable discharge. After his time in the Army he returned to Blair.

In 1966 he married Marjorie Sass and the couple were blessed with four children.

Bill was a long time employee of Agrico Chemical in Blair. He also spent 5 years living and working in Wyoming.

On July 13, 2007 he was united in marriage to Carolyn Mack.

Bill loved being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, camping, hunting and fishing. He also loved playing in and traveling to softball tournaments over the years.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn, children, Keith (Theresa), Amy (Jim) Telford, and Kent, daughter in law Joy, grandchildren; Amanda, Josie, Louis and Colton, brother Larry, sister Joyce (Mike) Johnson, sister Brenda Biffar, sister Laurel (Bill) Method. Along with many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Dee Hansen, brother Tom Biffar, son Alan Biffar, and grandson Deven Telford.
