Edith N. Jensen, 89, died on Nov. 29, 1988, at the Blair Hospital.

Edith was born on March 30, 1899, to Elsie (Jarf) and G. Edwin Carlson in Centerville, South Dakota.

She was united in marriage to Morris Jensen on Sept. 10, 1920, in Fremont.

She graduated from Blair High School and attended the University of Northern Colorado and Dana College. She taught school in the Washington County school systerms for a number of years.

She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents, husband Morris and son Clair, four sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by her grandson, Chris Jensen and brother Vernon of San Leandro, Ca., and nieces and nephews.

Services for Edith Jensen will be held today, Thursday, Dec. 1, at 10 a.m. at the Campbell Funeral Home. The Rev. Dave Nelson will officiate at the funeral and burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Campbell Funeral Home in Blair.
