27 Dec., 1894 - The Pilot

The sudden death of Miss Della Hazlip on last Sunday was a shock to her friends and relatives. The young lady was up and around the Thursday before apparently in the enjoyment of good health, but pneumonia set in from a cold, which was not considered serious, and in a very few days death resulted. The services were conducted Tuesday at 2:30 P. M. by Rev. Jas, Sheppard and the remains were interred in the Blair Cemetery. The deceased leaves a mother and one married sister, besides many intimate friends to mourn her loss. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the remaining members of the family in their hour of trouble.
