Asabel Eggleston

Asabel Eggleston died at the home of his son in this city at 8 o'clock last Sunday evening of pneumonia. The deceased was eighty years old at the time of his death. After a short service at the house Monday the remains were shipped to Peckatonika, III., for interment, Mr. Eggleston has resided with his son since his purchase of the Dixon hotel. The sympathy of the friends is extended to the remaining members of the family in their sad trouble.
