Joe Hammang, whose sudden sickness was recorded in these columns last week, died at his home in Arlington Thursday night. The funeral was held on Saturday and was attended by a number of people from Blair and other adjacent towns. Mr. Hammang was an old and highly respected citizen of the county, and as evidence of the esteem in which he was held in his own town, the banks and all other business houses closed during the funeral service. He. had a $5,000 policy on his life, which with other property owned by him, leaves his family fairly well provided for.
