Two sons of Mr. Howe, who lives on the bottom north of Blair, were drowned in Dennys lake last Thursday. They were out in a boat and upset it. Of three in the boat, only one got to shore. The two drowned were aged 13 and 18 respectively. They were buried in the Blair cemetery on Friday.

Note: Parents are George W. and Carolina Howe. The Vig Files at the Danish American Archives does not have their names recorded. Howe children are buried in the Blair Cemetery: Aley, Emily and Emery in Block 3 Lot 9 and spaces 5 and 6.
