Max Osterlund, the younger brother of N. M. Osterlund mentioned last week as being very sick, died at the home of his parents in this city Tuesday evening. Max was an industrious, bright young man, but he has been on the sick list for nearly a year. Coming home some three weeks ago from a summer outing in the Dakotas, he soon after took to his bed and has failed rapidly since. The funeral was held at the family residence yesterday afternoon, services being conducted by the German Lutheran pastor.
