BRAINARD - On Sunday, December 4th, 1892, Daniel Egbert Brainard, aged 83 years, 9 months and 18 days.

The deceased has been confined to his bed for some time at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Fannie O’Linn in this city. She and her son, Hugh, started with the remains for Magnolia, Iowa on Monday evening. The funeral was held there on Wednesday. Mrs. O’Linn is expected home tomorrow morning - Chadron Journal.

Judge Brainard was quite well know in former years to many Blair people and all such will extend their sympathy to Mrs. O’Lin in this great affection.
