#2-3 Sept., 1891 - The Pilot - Frank Cameron

A little son of Mr. John Cameron was taken seriously sick about a week ago with diphtheria and grew rapidly worse in spite of all that could be done and on Monday evening after a prolonged hemorrhage at the nose, he passed away. It was a sad blow to the family. Little Frank was 9 years of age and generally healthy. Rev. John Power of Blair officiated at the funeral which was at 3 o’clock yesterday. The friends of the family, excepting a small number, were not permitted to show their sympathy even by their presence on account of the nature of the disease. We learn that other members of the family have had a light form of the same disease, but all are improving and we hope will soon be restored to health.
