The funeral of Miss Gertrude Perkins, aged 15 years, occurred Tuesday from the residence of Judge Alonzo Perkins. Deceased was the daughter of Charles Perkins, eldest son of Judge Perkins, but has made her home from infancy with her grandparents, the Judge and his wife. She was a bright, vivacious girl, but physically frail, and has been for some time suffering with consumption. Pupils of Miss Jones' and Hancock's rooms-7th and 8th grade-in which she had most recently been a pupil, turned out in a body and attended the funeral.
