21 May, 1896 - The Pilot - John Miller

John Miller, who some ten or twelve years ago resided in Blair and whose father conducted a shoe store here a number of years, was killed at a small town in Wisconsin, Monday of this week. He has since leaving Blair resided with his mother and two brothers in Omaha, until a few weeks ago when he went east to work on the railroad, He soon found the work too hard for him and was returning home, when the train was thrown from the track and he with several others was killed. John Miller was a man twenty-two years of age. The remains arrived in Blair yesterday afternoon and were interred in the Blair cemetery at three o'clock, Rev. Main conducting short services at the grave.
