BAILEY - At the Norfolk Hospital, Mrs. Mary A. Bailey, wife of Mr. John Bailey of Cuming Township on the 20th inst. of paralysis.

After her first attack, she lingered for ten days suffering acute agony up to and within two days of her death, when the pain left her and she passed away as if going to sleep. Mr. Bailey expresses his heartfelt thanks toward the Superintendent, Dr. Wilkinsen, and all others connected with that institution for the kind and sympathetic care bestowed upon the deceased while under their care and treatment.

Mrs. Bailey was born in Atchison county, Mo. in 1846; was married to Mr. John Bailey on the 2nd day of July, 1878 (missing some text here)

Mr. Bailey is now left alone at the age of 55, with no children to comfort his declining years. He has the sympathy of his neighbors and friends who have known him since his residence here.
