DEATH OF Henry Schmidt, SR.

Mr. Henry Schmidt, Sr. one of Washington County’s most highly respected Germans, died at his residence about two miles east of Arlington on Christmas eve. Mr. Schmidt had been a sufferer from Bright’s disease for a number of years which finally resulted in his death. He was over 70 years of age, and leaves a large family and many friends to mourn his loss. Funeral was held at the Lutheran church on Saturday afternoon.
