26 Nov., 1896 - The Pilot - Almeda Frances Dulany

DIED.

DULANY-Of heart disease, at her home on South street, in Blair, at 12:30 PM Friday Nov. 20. 1896, Mrs. Almeda Frances Dulany, wife of George Dulany who was killed in a R.R. wreck at York five years ago last June.

Mrs. Dulany was born in Montgomery County, Virginia, Feb. 17, 1847. She came to Nebraska about twenty-two years ago, and was married to George Dulany Apr. 18, 1876. Four children were born to them, three sons and one daughter, three of whom survive her, James the eldest: George second, and Bessie ten years old. Mrs. Dulaney was one of those quiet, sweetly dispositioned women, whom everybody who knew her, loved. In her house and among her friends her noble Christian character was daily exemplified, and her death bed was a Christian triumph, a "sweeping through the gates to be with Jesus." The three children expect to secure the assistance of some kindly housekeeper and continue to live in their beautiful home.
