Mr. and Mrs. Sheridan Williams, who live on the bottom north of this city, buried a child in the Blair cemetery on last Saturday. We could learn none of the particulars of its death. It was about 2 years and 3 months old as we were informed by Mr. C. W. Carpenter, a neighbor of the family.

Note: Vig has a child, Nellie May Williams, dying July 31, 1880 and buried in Blair, Block 17, Lot 9.

The cemetery books have a Nellie May, buried in a plot purchased by S. Williams but with a death date of September 8, 1878, and birth date left blank.

Blair cemetery books list date of birth (blank for Nellie) but in light of this obituary, and the Vig files, it seems the person who wrote the details for Nellie May Williams into the cemetery books made an error.
