John Gloede, a brother-in-law of Herman Weinbrandt, died of la grippe, last Saturday evening. He had been lingering along able to be out some and during the afternoon, Saturday, his daughter went to Herman to call the doctor. Not getting home as soon as expected, Mr. Gloede went up to the top of the hill to see if she was coming and died before he got back. The funeral will be held today. The deceased was a resident of Herman.
