Mrs. Elizabeth Bovee, mother of our townsman, George Bovee, died in Omaha last Thursday June 10, 1897, aged 58 years. She had suffered two weeks of heart trouble when death came to her relief. In her death a husband mourns the loss of an affectionate wife, and three sons and four daughters lose a kind and devoted mother. A funeral service was held in Omaha at the residence of Rev. Father Watson; also at Blair in the Christian church by Rev. M. Campbell, after which the remains were laid away in the Blair cemetery.
