funeral home website William "Bill" LeRoy Clary, age 76, began his eternal life with Jesus on January 29, 2022, in Little Elm, Texas. Born to Lucile and Robert Clary in Omaha on December 9, 1945, Bill was active in his church community and local sports teams. After graduating from Benson High School in 1964, Bill entered the United States Marine Corps and proudly served as a radio technician during a tour in Vietnam. He was discharged with the rank of Corporal and received honors in marksmanship. After returning home to Omaha, Bill entered the family construction business alongside his father and brother. Bill continued a career in the construction field before starting his own company in Texas. As he neared retirement, Bill took on roles in corporate construction management until his passing. Bill met his lovely wife, Kathleen through youth activities at Covenant Presbyterian Church. The two were married in 1970 and went on to raise their children in Texas. Bill enjoyed many genres of music, swimming, spending time outdoors and traveling. He also loved to talk about current events, history and theology. Nothing delighted Bill more than bringing joy and laughter to his wife, children and grandchildren. He was a prankster to the end and his raucous humor will be remembered by all who loved him. Bill was a committed Christian and shared his faith with others until his death. Bill is survived by his wife, Kathy, and children, Laura Monette, Jill Moerschell (Barry), Leah Ludington (Ben) and Joseph Clary. Bill was a proud Papa to his 10 grandchildren: Hayley, Cole, Zach, Sophia, Paul, Sadie, Matthew, Isaac, Thomas and Anna. Survivors also include Bill's three siblings: Carol Cogley, Robert Clary and Mollie Leonard. A celebration of life is scheduled for 10 am on March 11, 2022 at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside interment and military honors will follow immediately after the service. ~~~Obituary courtesy of the Nebraska Washington County Genealogical Society.
