Died- On Monday at 5 o’clock p.m. in Arlington, William A. Norton age 82 years and 3 months. Deceased was father of Mrs. L.L. Lease and made his home with her. Monday afternoon Mrs. Lease went to the post office after the mail, leaving her father at home apparently in good health, sitting in his chair reading a book. On her return home in a short time she found him sitting in the chair but noticed the book he had been reading lying on the floor, and on examination found him dead. Dr. Gaither was called and pronounced death from heart failure. After short funeral services Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Lease, the remains were taken to the depot, followed by a large crowd of sympathizing friends, and sent to Ogden, Iowa, where they will be buried beside his wife.
