Died-Friday afternoon in this city, Mrs. Dolly Nye Carson, aged 87 years, 9 months 2 days.

Mrs. Carson was the mother of ten children, six boys and four girls, six of whom are still living, namely Frank, Marshall, Orin, Ora Melissa and Ellen. Nine of the children were born in the state of Maine and one, Frank of this city, in Minnesota. Something like thirty years ago the family moved to this city where they have since remained, the mother living with her son, Frank. They are among the oldest pioneers, having moved here when the present site of Blair was a wheat field.
