2 July, 1896 - The Pilot - L. Zuckermann

L. Zuckermann was found dead yesterday afternoon, near Calhoun between the farms of Chris Staben and Herman Rathmann. He was driving along and ran off a bridge, the wagon box striking him across the back of the neck, and evidently killed him instantly. Sherifl Mencke and Coroner Pierce went down there last evening and cared for the fellow, who is a foreigner and is not known to have any relatives in this country. He has a wife and one child in the old country and was a man about fifty years of age.
