MARTEN BATEN THOMPSON
Marten Baten Thompson was born in Dayton, Ohio, Feb. 19, 1839 coming to Washington County in 1880.
He lived in Blair for a number of years and later took up farming near Herman which he followed until three years ago. Since that time he has been cared for by his children.
He passed away January 31, 1926. Funeral services were held from the Bendorf Undertaking Parlors Tuesday, Feb. 2 and interment was made in the Blair Cemetery.
