29 Mar., 1894 - The Pilot - Delia May O'Connor

DIED.-On March 22nd, 1894. Delia May, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. O'Connor, at their home 4 miles west of Blair, aged 3 months and 6 days.The little one's death was caused by measles and brain trouble. She sweetly fell asleep to awake no more on earth at 8 o'clock in the evening, and her funeral was preached at the home by Rev. Geo. Main, pastor of the Methodist church, after which the remains were interred in the Blair Cemetery.

"A precious one from us has gone.
A voice we loved is stilled;
A place is vacant in our home,
Which never can be filled."

"God in His wisdom hath recalled
The boon His love had given,
And though the body moulders here,
Her soul is safe in heaven."
