Linda LaVerne Hansen, age 71, of Blair, passed away March 28, 2022. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Visitation will be held prior to services from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at a later date at the Orum Lincoln Cemetery.

Linda was born March 21, 1951, in Blair, the daughter of Richard and LaVerne Sorensen. She attended and graduated from Blair High School in 1969. Linda was united in marriage to Jerald Hansen in 1969. After the death of Jerald in 1974, Linda spent many years with her longtime companion Edwin Hansen.

Linda worked at Crowell Home beginning in 1985 and was employed there for many years until her retirement.

Linda enjoyed gardening, cooking, playing cards, listening to music, and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She will always be remembered for being an avid Husker football fan.

Linda is survived by her children: Mike (Sherry) Hansen, Amy (Craig) Mortensen; grandchildren: Chase, Jazlin, Gracie, Amanda and Andrew; great grandchildren: Ellie, Eli, Ella and Chloe; siblings: Marian (Richard) Hansen, Harold Sorensen; longtime companion Ed Hansen; along with extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jerald and her parents.

Memorials may be directed to the Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center.
