April 2, 1908- Arlington Herald- Ruth Sarah Hindmarsh

Ruth Sarah Hindmarsh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Hindmarsh, was born January 25, 1903, and dies Monday evening, March 30, 1908, age 5 years, 2 months and 5 days. When little Ruth first showed signs of sickness the physician was called and he recognized that it was a serious case and gave little hope of her recovery.

The funeral service was held Wednesday at the house at one o’clock.

A quartet composed of Mrs. Fred Weber, Mrs. Geo. Ludwig, J.Q. Wallingford and R.B. Adams of Arlington, furnished appropriate music. Rev. Chappell gave a talk from 1 Cor. 15:57- “Thanks be to God who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” He showed how little Ruth had victory through the unconditional benefits of the Atonement, and how we may all have victory through an active faith in Christ. Six young girls dressed in white acted as pallbearers. Interment was made in the Arlington cemetery. Many friends attended the services and extended to the bereaved parents and relatives their sincere sympathy.
