#1- 15 Feb 1940 Pilot Tribune FRANK DIXON OF TEKAMAH IS DEAD

Frank Dixon, 68, Tekamah, farmer and former Blairite died last Thursday. He was a member of a one-time large Blair family, most members of which now reside in California and was an uncle of Gifford L. Dixon of this city. He moved to Tekamah in 1912. Funeral services were held Monday at Shafer and Peck Mortuary in Tekamah, interment following at Forrest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.

Surviving Mr. Dixon are a wife and a granddaughter, five brothers, Asa Dixon Jr., Charles and Oscar Dixon, all of Los Angeles, Wallace Dixon of Tekamah and Fred Dixon of Ogden, Utah, and three sisters, Mrs. Lois Robinson, Mrs. Dulcie Miller, and Mrs. Maude Thrapp, all of Los Angeles.

FRANK DIXON, 68, IS HEART VICTIM

The victim of a heart ailment, Frank Dixon, former resident of Blair, passed away at his home in Burt county on Friday, February 9. Mr. Dixon was born in Blair on February 20, 1871 to Mr. and Mrs. Asa Dixon, Sr., the third child in a family of fifteen. He resided here until 1912 when he moved to the Arizona community east of Tekamah to engage in farming. His demise was quite sudden, and he leaves many friends and relatives in both counties to mourn his passing. Funeral services were held from a Tekamah funeral home Monday, and burial was in Omaha.
