Lucille Marie (McKeever) Golden, 79, passed away at home on May 25, 2022. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 28 at 10 a.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Graveside services will follow in the Blair Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, May 27 with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Lucille was born on Oct.17, 1943, to James Franklin McKeever and Julia Maxine (McNichols) Deal. She was born and raised in Omaha. In 1967, Lucille moved to Paris, Texas and resided there until 1990 when she returned to Nebraska. She lived in Herman briefly, before moving to Blair and resided there until her death. Lucille will always be remembered as a Christian woman. She will also be remembered for her cooking skills; making foods that family and friends loved. Lucille enjoyed listening to music and playing games with family and friends. Lucille was one of those special people who never met a stranger.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons: Larry D. Moore Jr. and Carl James Moore; brothers: Herbert McKeever, Perry McKeever, Joseph McKeever and Roy Harris; sisters: Myrtle Heisner, Virginia Keas, Patricia Magnet and Marilyn Theroux.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynnett (Jerry) Morgan; sons: Charles H. (Grazette) Golden Jr. and Thomas J. Golden; daughter-in-law Caren Moore; sister Juanita Pahkamaa; grandchildren: Carressa (Josh) Simmons, Katrina (Wade) Woster and Lance Moore, Scotty and Jonathan Morgan; 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair is in charge of arrangements.
