Mr. Dixon Dies At 61

Wallace P. Dixon, 61, Tekamah real estate agent and former Blairite, died Friday at his home in Tekamah. Funeral services were held at the Tekamah Methodist Church Monday with the Masonic Lodge in charge of graveside rites at the Tekamah Cemetery.

Wallace Perry Dixon, son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Asa Dixon Sr. of Blair, was born here October 19, 1880. He was married here in February 1901 to Nancy E. Ommerman who died in May 1932. The Dixons went from Blair to a farm near Decatur and returned to Blair briefly before moving to Tekamah in 1909. Mr. Dixon had sold thousands of acres of Burt County farmland during his years in business there.

He is survived by two sons, Dr. Chester D. Dixon of Santa Monica, California and Claude B. Dixon of Tekamah and by two grandchildren. Gifford Dixon of Blair is a nephew.

WALLACE DIXON RITES MONDAY

Wallace Dixon, formerly of Blair, but for years a resident of Tekamah, passed away on last Friday morning after a long illness.

Deceased was born in Blair in 1881, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Asa Dixon Sr. He received his education here and for a times was interested in the real estate business.

Around twenty-five years ago he purchased land near Tekamah where he farmed for a number of years. About ten years ago his wife died and he later moved into Tekamah where he resided until his death. He was a successful business man and was held in high esteem by those who knew him. Two sons survive—one in California and the other in Tekamah.

Funeral services were held Monday and interment was made in Tekamah.
