MISS LIDA MORGAN, 88 HAD LIVED THERE FOR PAST NINE YEARS

Miss Lida Morgan, a resident of the Crowell Memorial Home for the past nine and a half years, died at noon Wednesday, May 3, at the age of 88 years. She had been in ill health for some time.

Funeral services were held in the chapel Friday, Rev. Walter H. Jackson, Methodist minister officiating. Burial was made in the Blair cemetery.

Miss Morgan was born June 23, 1844 in Morgan County Indiana, and became a guest at the home in December 1923. She was very devoted to the interests of the home, according to Rev. W.C. George, superintendent, and was always appreciative of the consideration and interest shown her.

Miss Morgan was the only surviving member of her immediate family and only a number of nieces and nephews remain to mourn her loss.
