MRS. ALIDA DYE, 88, BURIED AT ARLINGTON

FORMER RESIDENT OF THAT TOWN TAKEN BY DEATH AT LODGEPOLE

J.C. Badger received word Wednesday of the death of his aunt, Mrs. Alida Dye late Tuesday evening at the home of her sister, Mrs. Persinger, at Lodgepole. Mrs. Dye lived here for a number of years. She was born Jan. 4, 1845, at Minersville, N.Y. and in 1866 was married to Otis M. Dye who passed away in August, 1909. Since the death of her husband Mrs. Dye has spent much of her time with Mrs. Persinger. The body arrived here Friday morning and funeral services were held that afternoon at the J.C. Badger home. Services were conducted by Rev. H.C. Van Valkenburgh. Music was rendered by a quartet of Mesdames. Carl Keller and P.L. Cady and Messrs. Vernon Marshall and Raymond Walkenhorst. Burial was made in the Arlington cemetery. Mrs. Minna Persinger and Mrs. W. D. Badger of this place are sisters who mourn her passing.
