SERVICES HELD FOR ELLA JENSEN

Funeral services were Monday, November 22, at First Christian Church for Ella Mae Jensen, 81, who died November 18, 1982, at the Fremont Annex.

The Rev. Owen Wilmot conducted the services. Burial was at the Blair Cemetery.

Ella Mae Jensen was born August 4, 1901, at Kennard, Nebraska, to Harvey Gilmore and Mae Mason Tucker Van Deusen. She attended school in Kennard.

She worked at the Blair Telephone company for over 25 years as an operator. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors. She had lived in the Fremont Annex since 1975.

She married Alfred Jensen on March 11, 1931, in the Christian Church parsonage. He preceded her in death.

Two brothers also preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, Richard Jensen, Elkhorn; and Robert Jensen, Climbing Hill, Iowa; and three daughters, Mrs. Norman (Nancy) Curley, Blair; Mrs. Gerald (Virginia) Curley, Glendale, California; and Odile Burchette, Topeka, Kansas. Thirteen grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, John Van Deusen, Fremont, Nebraaska; one sister, Ruth Potter, Orange, California; and one sister-in-law, Florence Van Deusen, Riviera, Florida, also survive her.

Pallbearers were Clyde Aten, Bob Richards, Cletus Fuhrer, Bob Push, Dennis Stark and Raymond Kuhr.

Donna Ball was organist. Dorothy Wilmot was soloist.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
