Services were held Monday morning for 87-year-old Elmer b. Jensen who died Friday, March 30 at the Crowell Home in Blair. The 2 p.m. service was held at the First United Methodist Church in Blair with Dr. Gordon Patterson officiating. Burial was in the Prairie View Cemetery at Kennard with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jensen was a retired farmer from the Kennard and Arlington area. He was born at Kennard, Nebraska on May 21, 1896. He is survived by two children, six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one brother and one sister. The children are Allen Eugene of Lincoln, and Joyce Smith of Omaha. The brother is Lillard Jensen of Omaha and Mrs. Edna Kruse of California.

Mr. Jensen was a member of the Arlington American Legion, Kennard Masonic Lodge and Odd Fellows Lodge.
